SKEDCO SKED STRETCHER SYSTEM

A rescue and patient transport system that is compact, lightweight, and versatile. It performs all the functions of a traditional basket stretcher and much more. The Sked Stretcher’s design and flexibility makes it ideal for confined space rescue in areas such as: storage tanks, ship’s hatches, mine shafts, manholes, caves, ventilation ducts and other difficult locations. Confined Space Harness

The all-around choice for confined space operations, heavy rescue and USAR incidents, our ANSI-rated Confined Space Harness™ is exceptionally comfortable, even when used for a shoulder lift. The molded waist padding with lumbar support and breathable D3 cloth provide industry-leading comfort. The redesigned buckle system and our unique Web Keepers™ provide ease of adjustment while keeping the web tails in place. Multiple attachment points include fall arrest points and shoulder lift points with a front waist D-ring for comfortable rappels. The mesh vest provides excellent breathability and keeps the shoulder straps organized to make donning easy. A handgrip has been added to the back for assisting the rescuer out of tight spaces. The harness has a radio pocket, a multi-use pocket and a zippered mesh accessory pocket, which is ideal for a small gas monitor. Attachment points: dorsal, front and rear waist, sternal, shoulders.

SKEDCO EVAC TRIPOD

The Sked-Evac Tripod extends from 6’ to 10’ high at the anchors. It has three anchors to clip into. Each anchor is mounted high onto the header, all of which are anodized in red to identify them. The anchors, headers and legs are interconnected to provide maximum strength. The header limits the distance the legs can spread. Each anchor is equally strong. The legs are adjustable in 5” increments. When at full extension this tripod allows you to bring the patient in a stretcher completely out of the hole. It is rated to handle an NFPA rescue load. Height adjustment positions are labeled every 5” from at the highest extension (5,280 lbf. 23.49 kN) to the lowest (9,500 lbf. 42.25 kN) setting. It utilizes a chain through the feet to provide greater strength and stability.

SMC NFPA LARGE STEEL LOCKING D CARABINER

This is one of the bestselling steel carabiners. The Large Steel Locking D was developed especially for the needs of the fire and rescue communities with a large gate opening that easily fits over litter rails. The NFPA21001 is the model that is stamped with the requisite UL Certification.
The components used in this carabiner are meticulously hand-finished prior to final assembly resulting in the smooth, free gate action that is the hallmark of all SMC carabiners. The sleeve locks on the gate rather than the body of the carabiner, eliminating problems of the knob binding on the frame after the carabiner has been loaded.
